Meet Our Friendly Rescue Animals & Enjoy Local Wildlife
Enhance your stay by interacting with our beloved farm animals, including horses, pigs, cats, and dogs! Most of our animals are rescues, finding rehabilitation and a forever home on our farm. They’re all friendly, but for safety, children must be supervised during interactions. Best of all, your stay directly supports their care and well-being!
As you explore the property, you'll also encounter an abundance of native wildlife, from koalas and kangaroos to fruit bats and a variety of bird species. Our animals roam freely, creating a unique and immersive farm stay experience.
Please note that while we have horses on the property, we are currently unable to offer horse riding. If you'd like to enjoy horse riding while you stay at SeeHorse Meadows we recommend Nash Horse Trekking. Located fifteen minutes from SeeHorse Meadows.
Please be mindful when around the horses that they can be unpredictable as they are flight animals
The standard rules when around the horses are:
Never walk behind a horse as you might scare them and get kicked.
Always watch them as some like to take a little nip at you (they can be cheeky).
Do not run at them or make sudden, fast movements around them as this will spook them which can lead to kicking and biting.
Do not let children under the age of 12 in the paddocks or around the horses without an adult with them.
Remember the old farmer saying of if you open a gate, close it and if the gate was open, leave it open.

Stella is a four year old kelpie cross. She is my main work dog. With talents in herding, protection of the property and super nanny to the younger pups.

Sasha
Sasha is fourteen year old husky and is the matriarch of the pack. She can be vocal at times. Even though she is the oldest, there is noslowing her down.

Roxy
Roxy is a four year old red cattle dog cross. She's a lover that is always in need of attention. She's a couch potato and more on the lazy side. You'll find her hanging around close to the house.
Friendly rating: 4 star. Super friendly but scratches out for attention. Can be sensitive and cranky towards other dogs until she gets to know them.
Marley
Marley is the sporty twin. Two years old with an
obsession with balls and swimming. He's super
friendly and gets along with other dogs and kids.

Kenny
Kenny is the resident koala. He has been here
for about eight years. He's the dominant male
and this is his territory. In spring time lots of
young females come into the property to court
him. Amongst the single ladies, around the
Churchable area, he is known as a major stud.

Jetson
Jetson is more the tonka twin. Two years old. He's a little bit slower and shyer than Marley but stronger on games such as tug of war.

Noodles
Niecey Noodles is nine years old and came to
live on the farm only a year ago.

BoiBoi
BoiBoi is five years old. He came to the property
at two years old from the industrial park in Yatala.
He was completely feral and untouched but we
started feeding him from the back of the factory
and eventually caught him and had him desexed.
He's a survivor and he settled right into the farm.

Charlie Bear
Charlie Bear is twenty- two. He is a Shetland
pony. He came with a trotter horse that has
since passed. He looks after all the young
horses.

Molly
Molly is a Chinese Shar Pei my head dog. She's the alpha female of
the pack. She is the alert dog of the property
and greets everybody at the gate, to bring
attention to visitors on the property. She is regal
and doesn't require a lot of affection but definitely
keeps things in order around the SeeHorse

Tipsy
Tipsy is five years old. She's a sweet pig that
gets along with everybody. She minds her own
business. You'll see her strolling past the bnb as
she is food motivated and is always interested in
a quick snack. All leftovers and food donations
will be taken care of by Tipsy the economical
garbage disposal.

Piggly Wiggly
Piggly Wiggly is twelve years old. She escaped
from a farm and strolled onto a past property
and decided that I was going to be her new
owner. You'll see her at dusk as she gets
sunburnt. She's a delightful character and a fan
favourite. If you're lucky she will roll over and let
you scratch her belly.

Smokie Mokie
Smokie is ten years old and super friendly. He
has a cruisy personality. He gets along with
everyone and can be bossy to the dogs. He is
well respected by all.

Myrtyl can be shy but is very sweet. She's the
smallest and youngest cat. She is 2 years old.
She came from a foster program. We decided to
adopt her.

Velvet
Velvet has been rescued recently and is just over a year old. She was a give away due to
complications of her being anxious and needy for
attention. Which resolved itself when she came
to the farm and was given work dog duties and a
pack to learn from. Super Chill dog that loves
everybody, including kids and all other animals.

Buster
Buster is super easy going. He's 7 years old. He
came from the same factory that BoiBoi came
from but he was the resident cat. They were nemeses' which is why he had to be rehomed, Funny that they should both end up at the same place. They recognised each other had a chat about their old stomping ground and have been best friends ever since. He's been here for three years and gets along with everyone.

Aiko
Aiko is ten years old. He is friendly. He loves kids
and his hair being brushed. Can be cheeky but
in a cute way. He has a gentle nature. Can get
up to mischief as he is very intelligent.

Burpengary dogger dealer, who was wonderful
enough to give them a chance to be adopted
before taking them to the processing plant. She
was rescued after being run in from a national
forest with a helicopter. She lost her mother in
transit. I purchased three babies at once and
they are all very close as they have used each
other to heal. The three horses are Buttercup,
Nova and Goliath.

Bluey is a blue roan appaloosa that was rescued
from the Tamworth dog food processing plant.
He was there for over two weeks watching other
horses meet their maker. Which did have a
psychological effect on him for a few years. He is
a very gentle and sensitive horse.

Romeo
Romeo is eight years old. He is the long haired
black and white cat. Very affectionate and kind
towards all, including kids. He might visit and
say hello. We call him Gordon Ramsey because
he likes to sit on kitchen and critique anything
you're making. Will smooch on everybody

Baby-Doll
Baby-Doll is six years old. She was bought as a
six month old from Laidley Sales where she was
sold separately from her mother. She has a
heart murmur and has had an operation to
remove spinal chips from where her mane meets
her back. She will have to have a specially fitted
saddle or be ridden bareback. Which is just fine
for her to live her life out here at the SeeHorse
Meadows.

Faith
Faith is an eighteen year old racehorse who has
been retired. She had a successful racing
( D'Jebels Impact) and dressage career. She was
looked after by her beautiful owner, who bred
her and couldn't keep her any more. He choose the
SeeHorse Meadows for her to live out her
retirement with a herd.

Arrion is seven years old Arabian. He was a give

Animals with attitude that need their personal space
Biddy
Biddy is 12 years old. She's full of attitude. She's
the smallest cat but is the most independent.
She is the boss of the cats. She doesn't like the
other cats but loves all the dogs. This keeps the
war on the cats in her favour at all times. Note

Sunny-Boy is ten years old and my most
well trained horse for riding. He is a
very temperamental bully as it is
his job in the herd to be the
sergeant in arms. Which means
he's the one who is sent in to sort
out any trouble that the herd may
be dealing with.
